Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalesky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Heleknus tries to keep at a distance but Zalesky has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zalesky lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Roberto Heleknus has been cut.
Heleknus is looking to break free of the clinch but Zalesky has double underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zalesky creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Zalesky throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Heleknuss head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zalesky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Heleknus's efforts to push away.

Zalesky is working the Thai clinch up against the cage. He yanks Heleknus's head to one side and delivers a picture perfect knee, right on the button! Boom! Down goes Heleknus! He's out! He's out! The fight is over, just like that!
