Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between jp Califf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pentti Jr Pentele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pentele has chosen Push it to the limit as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Califf keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pentele scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

jp Califf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Califf slaps away a takedown attempt from Pentele, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Califf counters with a three punch combo that has Pentele backing up. Pentele nods at Califf to acknowledge the strikes.
Pentele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Califf manages to avoid it.

Califf gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Califf lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Pentele has hold of Califf's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Califf manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Califf is on top in guard.

A very excited looking Pentti Jr Pentele rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
