Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gab Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Junior might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to SOLDIERS HEART. Alex Cole will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cole but Cole pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Junior drives through with a takedown into Cole's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Junior has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Junior is looking for a kimura but Cole is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Junior to get the leverage.

Junior lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Cole is not content to let Junior control the position.
Junior frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
BOOM! Junior connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cole defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Junior.
Cole takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Junior shoots in and drives through. Cole sprawls well.

Junior is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cole is trying to escape and Junior transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cole is forced to tap! Nice work there by Junior! Very nice indeed!
