Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Arky Rakerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Kingsman!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kingsman wants to clinch up but Rakerson keeps it at a distance.
Rakerson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rakerson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rakerson lands with a nice body kick.

Kingsman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Rakerson tries to roll over but Kingsman keeps him under control.
Kingsman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kingsman has eaten all the pies!
Kingsman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rakerson defending well though.

Kingsman escapes and gets back to his feet.
Rakerson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rakerson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kingsman is fending him off so far but Rakerson persists. Nope, Kingsman circles away and we're back to standing.

Rakerson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kingsman shoots in and bounces Rakerson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kingsman content to stall in guard here.
Kingsman won't allow Rakerson to sweep him here.
Kingsman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Kingsman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rakerson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Rakerson is working an open guard so Kingsman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Rakerson lands with a kick to the temple. Kingsman shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Kingsman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rakerson to the mat! Rakerson manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kingsman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kingsman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Rakerson is breathing heavily.

Kingsman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kingsman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rakerson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kingsman staying calm.

Kingsman cracks Rakerson with a big elbow.

Kingsman decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Kingsman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rakerson's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arky Rakerson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kyle Kingsman wasn't active enough on the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Kingsman dominated that round.
That's time! Rakerson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Rakerson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kingsman tries to land a leg kick but Rakerson saw it coming and moves away.
Kingsman takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Rakerson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rakerson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kingsman stands up from Rakerson's guard - Kingsman perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kingsman looks for the body kick but Rakerson saw that one coming.
Rakerson tries to work over Kingsman's front leg with a kick but Kingsman checks it.

A combination from Rakerson does no damage.
Rakerson tries for a takedown but Kingsman circles away easily

and Kingsman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rakerson!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kingsman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kingsman is working for a guillotine from mount but Rakerson frees his head quite easily.
Kingsman controlling the pace for now.

Kingsman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rakerson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rakerson shrugs it off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Arky Rakerson has been cut.

Kingsman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rakerson has worked his arm free - good work by Rakerson!

Kingsman works to advance to full mount. Rakerson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kingsman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kingsman jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rakerson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kingsman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kingsman stands up and beckons Rakerson to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Kingsman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Kingsman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rakerson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kingsman is in Rakerson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kingsman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Rakerson has his foot on Kingsman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kingsman works his way back into a safe position though.
Kingsman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Rakerson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kingsman's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kingsman slips nicely into half guard.

Kingsman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rakerson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Rakerson is trying to control but can't.
Kingsman tries to pass to full mount but Rakerson defends it.
Kingsman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Rakerson is defending against the submission attempts here by Kingsman.

Kingsman is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rakerson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
