The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxe clinches up against the cage.
Boxe lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Boxe breaks the clinch.
Boxe throws a right and a left that Spreewell avoids nicely.
Spreewell shoots in looking for a takedown. Boxe tries to sprawl out of it but Spreewell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boxe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Spreewell takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Boxe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Boxe wants to break free but Spreewell has control.

Boxe manages to break the clinch.
Boxe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spreewell.

Boxe closes the distance and clinches.

Boxe fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Spreewell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Boxe works on Spreewell's body with a couple of short punches.
Boxe lands a shoulder strike.

Boxe jumps guard but Spreewell stands there with Boxe around his waist. Boxe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Latrell Spreewell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaviao Boxe.
Boxe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Boxe wants to break free but Spreewell has control.

Spreewell turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Spreewell manages to end up in side control.

Spreewell is breathing heavily.
Boxe is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Boxe takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Boxe is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Spreewell fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

BOOM! Spreewell connects with a massive shot to the dome!
