Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kjell Brel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Brawler Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler Jr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Hard Knock Life" Dr. Evil & Mini Me. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Will Brawler Jr enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brel forces Brawler Jr back against the cage and clinches.
Brel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brawler Jr.
Brawler Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Stalling in the clinch from Brel.
Brel tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Brel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brawler Jr.
Kjell Brel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Brawler Jr.
Brawler Jr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brawler Jr is working for takedown but Brel is calmly controlling the position for now.

Brel tries to bum rush Brawler Jr with a series of wild strikes but Brawler Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brawler Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brel as he jumps to the side.
Brawler Jr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Brel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brawler Jr counters with a right hand to the body.

Brawler Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Brel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Brawler Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brawler Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Brawler Jr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Brawler Jr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brawler Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brawler Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Brawler Jr passes Brel's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Brawler Jr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brel keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Brawler Jr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brawler Jr showed some decent athleticism there.

Brel wants to improve his position but Brawler Jr is controlling well.
Brawler Jr wants to free his trapped foot but Brel is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brel wants to slow Brawler Jr down by chopping away at his legs.
Brel keeps the fight on the outside.
Brel throws the kick towards the body but Brawler Jr avoids it.
Brawler Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brel is fending him off so far but Brawler Jr persists. Nope, Brel circles away and we're back to standing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Brawler Jr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brel's guard.
Brawler Jr postures up in Brel's guard and throws a big left but Brel blocks it.

Brawler Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brawler Jr, into his guard.
Brel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brawler Jr is proving hard to escape from.

Brawler Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Will Brawler Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Brawler Jr has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brawler Jr.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brawler Jr is looking to escape.
Brawler Jr tries to reverse the position but Brel maintains control.
Brel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
