Mendez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mendez misses with the combination.

Mendez doesn't manage to clinch there - Salace circles away.
Salace throws a big shot that misses.

Mendez clinches up with Salace and pushes him back against the cage.

Mendez works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Salace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mendez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Salace looking for a guillotine here but Mendez defends easily.

Salace has his foot on Mendez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mendez works his way back into a safe position though.

Salace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mendez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Salace looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mendez is defending well. Salace quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mendez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Salace celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
