Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yancey Dunlap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and matt hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that matt hughes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hughes takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Dunlap lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Good leg kick by Dunlap there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dunlap lands a nice looking kick to the body. hughes takes a step back to recover.
Dunlap lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Dunlap cracks the inside of hughes's front leg.
Dunlap throws a nice looking combination but hughes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dunlap looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dunlap throws a push kick but hughes slaps the foot to one side.
hughes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dunlap.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dunlap misses with a double jab.
hughes takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dunlap throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

hughes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dunlap.
