Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Blachowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewey Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Guilty As Charged. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox avoids the head kick by Blachowicz.
Cox fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Cox darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cox with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Blachowicz wants to get back to his feet.
Cox stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cox tries to stand and escape but Blachowicz is controlling the position.
Blachowicz is trying to stand up here but Cox is controlling him well.
Cox thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blachowicz's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Cox seems content to control.

Blachowicz trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Cox works to advance to full mount. Blachowicz defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Cox fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Blachowicz is bucking up trying to escape but Cox cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Cox thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Cox manages to capitalize on a mistake by Blachowicz to take his back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cox really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Blachowicz.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cox shoots in looking for a takedown. Blachowicz tries to sprawl out of it but Cox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blachowicz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cox gets a clinch.

Cox is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blachowicz pulls his head out easily.

Blachowicz is keen to just control but Cox is a slippery customer.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blachowicz connects with a nice short shot to Cox's temple.

Cox is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dewey Cox hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cox moves into the clinch successfully.
Blachowicz misses with a knee strike.
Cox blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Blachowicz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Blachowicz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cox blocks it with crossed arms.

Cox pulls Blachowicz into guard.
Blachowicz landing some decent shots from guard.
Blachowicz throws a big right hand that misses.
Blachowicz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Cox has his hands on Blachowicz's head, controlling the position.

Cox's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dewey Cox.

Cox moves into range and clinches up with Blachowicz.
Blachowicz tries a knee to the head but Cox blocks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blachowicz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cox smiles and moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blachowicz as he jumps to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jan Blachowicz will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Blachowicz looks to land a right hand but Cox moved out of range.

and Cox counters with a nice low kick that buckles Blachowicz's knee momentarily.

Blachowicz reaches up to try and control the position but Cox seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Blachowicz rolls and tries to escape and now Cox has his back!

Cox is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Blachowicz with him. Blachowicz is trying to defend but Cox has an arm under the chin now! Blachowicz grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dewey Cox!
After winning the bout, Dewey Cox thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
