Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Auguste Grimm!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimm keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Grimm lands a jab to the nose.
Pierre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pierre shoots in but Grimm avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pierre feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Grimms jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Grimm.
Pierre fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Grimm avoids it really well and circles away.
Pierre swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Grimm cracks Pierre with a good jab.
Grimm tries to close the distance and clinch but Pierre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pierre closes the distance and clinches.
Grimm has a couple of punches blocked by Pierre.
Grimm lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Grimm.
Pierre takes an elbow to the forehead.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Grimm.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Grimm just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pierre's brow.
Pierre wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Grimm has him pressed against the cage.
Pierre takes a knee right on the jaw!
Pierre misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Grimm lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pierre backwards.
Grimm lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pierre.
Grimm tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Grimm softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Pierre has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Grimm avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pierre is looking to control Grimm's arms but Grimm gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pierre has his back to the cage.
Grimm lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Grimm lands an elbow that stopped Pierre in his tracks for a moment.
Oh Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Grimm obliges.
Pierre can't break the clinch.

Grimm blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Grimm scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Pierre tries to score a body lock takedown but Grimm shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Clinched against the cage, Grimm lands a big elbow that drops Pierre! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Pierre is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Auguste Grimm!
A relieved looking Auguste Grimm thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
