Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has Callahan up against the ropes in a clinch.
Johnson misses with an elbow over the top.

Callahan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Callahan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Callahan throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Callahan is looking to score with low kicks.
Johnson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Callahan's hands.
Johnson tries to clinch up
and Callahan counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Jack Johnson has been cut.
Johnson darts in trying to clinch
and Callahan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Callahan swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Johnson tries to clinch but Callahan is having none of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson moves to clinch but Callahan breaks away
and Callahan counters with a thumping low kick.
Callahan swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.

and Callahan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Callahan cracks Johnson with a big right hand but Johnson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Callahan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Johnson is not content to let Callahan control the position.

Callahan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Johnson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.
Johnson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Callahan postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Callahan from controlling successfully.
Callahan is working Johnson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Johnson trying to keep a closed guard but Callahan is proving a slippery customer.
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Callahan passes into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Callahan pulls his head out easily.
Johnson is staying active underneath Callahan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Callahan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Callahan eventually gives up the hold.

Johnson is looking for a sweep. Callahan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Callahan winds up and cracks Johnson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Callahan is trying to control. Johnson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Callahan slips a nice elbow through Johnson's hands, connecting with Johnson's forehead.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Callahan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Callahan working over Johnson with some ground and pound. Johnson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Callahan moves into full mount! Johnson won't be happy about that!

You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Callahan wants to control the pace but Johnson is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jack Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Callahan gets tackled into the ropes by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Callahan is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Callahan avoids the elbow strike from Johnson, against the ropes.
Callahan is trying to force a seperation but Johnson has the dominant position.

Callahan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Callahan wants to slow Johnson down by chopping away at his legs.

Johnson clinches up with Callahan and pushes him back against the ropes.
Callahan tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position.
Johnson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Callahan avoids the elbow strike from Johnson, against the ropes.
Johnson misses with an elbow strike.
Callahan takes an elbow to the temple.
Callahan scores with a hook to the body.

Callahan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Callahan counters with an outside leg kick.
Johnson tries to clinch but Callahan is having none of it.

Callahan lands a nice shot that snaps Johnson's head back.

Johnson takes one to the chin there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Callahan digs a good hook to Johnson's body.
Johnson misses with a left hand
and Callahan counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Callahan to acknowledge the strikes.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Callahan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Callahan misses with a body shot.
Callahan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the ropes. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Callahan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Callahan is trying to maintain a safe position but Johnson gets an underhook and turns Callahan into the ropes.
Johnson lands an elbow inside that Callahan shrugs off.

Johnson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Callahan counters with a nice body shot.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Callahan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jack Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

No joy there for Callahan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Callahan fails with the takedown.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Callahan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jack Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Callahan cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Callahan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Callahan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
Callahan is looking to score with low kicks.
Callahan misses with a low kick.
Johnson tries to clinch up but Callahan circles away and keeps his distance.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.

Johnson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Callahan connects with a single shot there.
Callahan moves out of range of the strikes.
Callahan throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.

letting Callahan counter with a right hand.
Johnson wants to clinch.
Callahan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Callahan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Callahan swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.

Callahan tries a low kick but Johnson avoids it.

and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Callahan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Callahan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Callahan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johnson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Callahan counters with an outside leg kick.
Johnson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Callahan scores with a nice head shot.
Johnson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Johnson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Callahan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


Johnson is rocked!
Callahan throws a monster overhand right that drops Johnson! Callahan follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
