Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bailey Pashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bailey Pashley!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pashley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat.
Pashley shoots in and drives through. Harris sprawls well.
Pashley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Pashley fails with a takedown attempt.

Harris manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pashley on his heels. He'll look to pass Pashley's guard now, I'm sure.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Harris won't allow Pashley to sweep him here.

Harris has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Pashley wants to sweep here but Harris controlling him for the moment.

Harris stops Pashley from standing up.
Harris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pashley is keeping the position for now.
Pashley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Harris controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jake Harris just wasn't active enough.

Pashley gets caught flat footed, as Harris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pashley is looking for a triangle but Harris pushes his legs off easily.
Pashley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pashley wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Harris is now in half guard.
Harris is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Harris uses his free foot to push down on Pashley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pashley.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Harris prevents Pashley from getting the reversal.

Harris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pashley is desperately trying to improve his position but Harris has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harris's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Pashley is looking to improve his position but Harris isn't that keen on the idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pashley is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Harris dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Pashley gets caught napping as Harris dives in and scores a takedown. Pashley manages to retain guard.

Jake Harris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Harris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris distracts Pashley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Pashley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Harris is aware though and is defending well.

Pashley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pashley is breathing heavily.
Harris works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Harris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Harris looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pashley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pashley is looking to get back to is feet but Harris passes into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harris is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pashley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Harris works to advance to full mount. Pashley defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Harris lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Harris cracks Pashley with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pashley is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Harris locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Pashley is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jake Harris!
A relieved looking Jake Harris thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
