Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blackie Kilmister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg LaFleche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilmister comes to the cage accompanied by W.A.S.P. - Tormentor. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Greg LaFleche was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blackie Kilmister! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg LaFleche! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilmister swinging wilding here.
Nice defenses there by LaFleche. Kilmister is looking to score with low kicks. Kilmister throws an overhand right that lands on LaFleche's shoulder, as LaFleche tries to avoid the shot. LaFleche shoots in for a double leg but Kilmister sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kilmister throws a half hearted mid kick. LaFleche misses with a jab, cross combination.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kilmister. Kilmister misses with an uppercut. LaFleche saw that one coming. Kilmister throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

It looks like Greg LaFleche has been cut. Kilmister throws a sloppy head kick and LaFleche moves out of range easily. LaFleche is still on wobbly legs! Can Kilmister finish him?

Kilmister slow jab from LaFleche misses its intended target. LaFleche seems to have recovered his senses. Kilmister takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Kilmister loads up on a big right hand but LaFleche slips the punch. Kilmister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kilmister throws a series of punches but LaFleche moves out of range. LaFleche displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kilmister throws out the jab. LaFleche tries to free his leg and advance position but Kilmister is retaining full guard. Kilmister looking for a guillotine here but LaFleche defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. LaFleche throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kilmister works some decent striking defense from the bottom. LaFleche throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. LaFleche postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. LaFleche postures up in Kilmister's guard and throws a big left but Kilmister blocks it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kilmister misses with a two punch combination.

Kilmister throws a jab but it's blocked by LaFleche. LaFleche circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kilmister walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. LaFleche checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kilmister darts in and out, connecting with a jab. LaFleche lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

LaFleche tries to bum rush Kilmister with a series of wild strikes but Kilmister uses good footwork to avoid the assault. LaFleche changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kilmister looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kilmister sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. LaFleche lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LaFleche trying to control from half guard but Kilmister is working away. LaFleche missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. LaFleche working Kilmister over with strikes. LaFleche wants to free his trapped foot but Kilmister is holding on for dear life with his legs. LaFleche looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LaFleche keeps the fight on the outside. Blackie Kilmister is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kilmister fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A good leg kick by Kilmister. Kilmister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kilmister throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and LaFleche counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kilmister tries to roll over but LaFleche keeps him under control. LaFleche is nestled in close to Kilmister, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

LaFleche throwing shots but Kilmister is blocking nicely. Kilmister is looking for a sweep. LaFleche is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. LaFleche is keen to just control but Kilmister is a slippery customer. LaFleche is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Kilmister moves in looking to clinch but LaFleche pushes him off. Kilmister gets a takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. LaFleche wants to improve his position but Kilmister is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. LaFleche has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kilmister is working away from the top position though. LaFleche wants to get back to full guard but Kilmister has mounted him! Kilmister looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. LaFleche sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. LaFleche strikes from the bottom but Kilmister uses the opportunity to move to side control.
LaFleche is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilmister prevents LaFleche from improving his position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if LaFleche can do anything to dispel that myth. Kilmister looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kilmister takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kilmister prevents LaFleche from improving his position. Kilmister blocks the strikes from LaFleche.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. LaFleche is defending against the submission attempts here by Kilmister.
LaFleche moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. LaFleche is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kilmister works over LaFleche with some ground and pound from guard. Kilmister wants to control from the top but LaFleche keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Greg LaFleche will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Greg LaFleche's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
LaFleche ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kilmister moves away. LaFleche checks a low kick from Kilmister. Kilmister throws a series of punches but LaFleche avoids them all with ease. Kilmister throws a right hand that LaFleche ducks under and follows up with a left that LaFleche also avoids with ease. Kilmister tries to close the distance and clinch up but LaFleche swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kilmister misses with a takedown attempt and LaFleche connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. LaFleche slow jab from Kilmister misses its intended target. LaFleche closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A clash of legs there as LaFleche blocks the low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kilmister connects with a high kick. Kilmister misses with a kick to the body and LaFleche counters with a takedown into side control. Kilmister parries the strikes from LaFleche easily there. LaFleche is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kilmister to escape.

Kilmister throws a lazy right hand but LaFleche sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kilmister connects with a high kick. LaFleche takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilmister throws out a loose jab but LaFleche uses good head movement to avoid it. LaFleche bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kilmister tries to clinch up and LaFleche counters with a nice double leg into half guard. LaFleche thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. LaFleche trying to pass the guard but Kilmister defending well. LaFleche thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kilmister's head. LaFleche stalling. Kilmister is holding on to half guard well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LaFleche tries to pass to full mount but Kilmister defends it. LaFleche trying to control the pace. Kilmister is trying to maintain the position but LaFleche is very close to passing his half guard. LaFleche drops an elbow to the side of Kilmister's head. Kilmister keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Blackie Kilmister has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kilmister gets back to full guard.
LaFleche throws a strike but Kilmister rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kilmister stands and throws LaFleche's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kilmister wants to lay and pray for a moment but LaFleche keeps working. Kilmister stands up.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Blackie Kilmister. I think LaFleche has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
