The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enemy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Public Enemy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Enemy shoots in looking for a takedown but El Batal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Enemy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

El Batal throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Enemy on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

El Batal is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Enemy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from El Batal finds it's way round the side to connect with Enemy's head.

Enemy tries to close the distance and clinch but El Batal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Enemy misses with a hook. El Batal ducked under it nicely.
Enemy tries to score a power double leg takedown but El Batal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Enemy somewhat.

El Batal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Enemy doesn't seem bothered though.
El Batal jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Enemy is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Fakhri El Batal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Enemy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
El Batal connects with a right hand. Enemy shakes it off.
Enemy is trying desperately to land a takedown but El Batal is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Enemy.

and El Batal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

El Batal goes for a small jab and connects. Now El Batal goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Enemy stumbles back but El Batal runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Enemy to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Enemy will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
