Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Zenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Kiptanui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zenin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Helloween - Power. Kiptanui is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Teflon Brothers - Hoodilammas feat. Juju . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vladimir Zenin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Gabriel Kiptanui!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zenin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kiptanui.
Kiptanui drops his hands momentarily and Zenin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Zenin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kiptanui manages to avoid it.
Zenin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kiptanui counters with a straight right hand.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zenin.
Zenin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kiptanui uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zenin.
Zenin swats away the attempt to clinch by Kiptanui.

Kiptanui moves in looking to clinch but Zenin pushes him off.

Zenin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kiptanui's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vladimir Zenin.
