Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Ralengrado!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Hall lands.
Ralengrado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ralengrado.
Ralengrado fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hall avoids it really well and circles away.
Matt Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Ralengrado.

Hall lands a big head kick that sends Ralengrado tumbling to the mat! Hall takes a step backwards and waves Ralengrado back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Ralengrado dives in and scores a takedown into Hall's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ralengrado throws a strike but Hall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ralengrado wants to hit a switch here but Hall passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ralengrado there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall lands a big shot there that rocks Ralengrado but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ralengrado is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Hall throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hall throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Ralengrado tries to hold on but Hall pushes him away.

Hall get's back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head kick from Hall lands but Ralengrado takes it in his stride.
Matt Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hall moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ralengrado fails with the takedown.
Hall lands with a thumping leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall lands a brutal head kick. Ralengrado looks out on his feet and Hall throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
