The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a series of punches but Shleifer moves out of range.
Shleifer connects with an inside leg kick.

and Shleifer counters with a three punch combo that has Souza backing up. Souza nods at Shleifer to acknowledge the strikes.
Shleifer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Souza throws a sloppy head kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Souza throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shleifer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shleifer, as that shot connected.
Souza misses with a head kick.
Shleifer scores with a jab. Souza acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Shleifer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Souza on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Shleifer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Souza's calf.
Shleifer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Souza.
A solid leg kick lands there for Shleifer.

Shleifer rushes Souza and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Souza is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Shleifer breaks the clinch.
Souza takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Shleifer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Souza's sensitive parts.

Shleifer closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Souza out cold! Souza corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
