Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rober Diabolic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Stolen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Stolen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rober Diabolic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Stolen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diabolic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Stolen is defending against the submission attempts here by Diabolic.

Diabolic is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stolen is just riding it out for now. Diabolic eventually gives up the hold.
Stolen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Diabolic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stolen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Rober Diabolic will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Stolen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diabolic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Stolen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stolen lands a couple of elbows.
Stolen stands and throws Diabolic's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Diabolic tries to bench press Stolen off him but Stolen keeps the position.

Rober Diabolic overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stolen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Stolen lands a big shot there that rocks Diabolic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Stolen has control of Diabolic's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diabolic regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The referee warns Diabolic that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Ryan Stolen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Diabolic shoots in looking for a takedown. Stolen tries to sprawl out of it but Diabolic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stolen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Diabolic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stolen.

Stolen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Diabolic to the ground. Stolen is now in Diabolic's guard.

Diabolic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stolen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stolen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
