Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Krissu Krissi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gary Redcliff!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Redcliff as Krissi shoots in.
Good leg kick by Krissi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Redcliff darts in and clinches Krissi up against the cage.
Redcliff is trying to drag Krissi to the mat but Krissi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Redcliff has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Krissi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Redcliff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Krissi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Krissu Krissi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Redcliff.

Redcliff has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Krissi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Krissi lands a nice shot that snaps Redcliff's head back.

Redcliff throws a sloppy head kick and Krissi moves out of range easily.

Gary Redcliff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Krissi counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Krissi rushes Redcliff and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Redcliff is pressed up against the cage. Krissi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Redcliff down to the mat. Redcliff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Redcliff turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Redcliff manages to end up in side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Krissi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Krissi shoots in for a double leg but Redcliff sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Redcliff closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Krissi quickly recovers to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Krissi regains full guard. Nicely done.
Krissi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Krissi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Redcliff is working for takedown but Krissi is calmly controlling the position for now.

Krissi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Redcliff is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Krissi to the mat. Krissi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Redcliff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krissi tries to avoid it but Redcliff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krissi to the ground. Krissi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Krissi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Krissi counters with a slapping leg kick.

Redcliff shoots for a double leg takedown but Krissi sprawls well. He's pushed Redcliff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Redcliff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krissi tries to avoid it but Redcliff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krissi to the ground. Krissi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Krissi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Redcliff has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
