The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Dixon. Oregon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oregon avoids the body shot from Dixon.
Dixon uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oregon has time to react.
Dixon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oregon.
Dixon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Oregon circles away quickly and effectively.

Dixon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oregon manages to avoid it.

Dixon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oregon manages to avoid it.

Dixon throws a nice looking combination but Oregon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Oregon gets a double leg takedown into Dixon's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Oregon throws an elbow that misses. Dixon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Oregon's guard. Nice move by Dixon!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oregon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dixon won't allow Oregon to get back to his feet.
Oregon wants to sweep here but Dixon controlling him for the moment.

Oregon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Oregon controls Dixon momentarily but Dixon frees himself.

Eugene Oregon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Dixon displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dixon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oregon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Oregon is rocked!
Oregon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dixon as he avoids it easily.
Oregon is still on wobbly legs! Can Dixon finish him?
Clyde Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugene Oregon.
Oregon loses concentration momentarily and Dixon pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Oregon crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Dixon finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
