The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamiya shoots for a double leg takedown but Boxlund sprawls well. He's pushed Kamiya's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boxlund displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kamiya.
Kamiya tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Boxlund is able to avoid easily.

Kamiya lands a nice hook to Boxlund's body. Boxlund takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kamiya throws a solid leg kick but Boxlund takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kamiya.

and Boxlund counters with a low kick, right behind Kamiya 's knee.
Kamiya shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Blixt Boxlund has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kota Kamiya.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kamiya pivots, looking for a leg kick but Boxlund is out of range and Kamiya settles back down.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kamiya throws a hook but Boxlund avoids it easily.
Kamiya throws a quick head kick that knocks Boxlund silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Kamiya is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
