Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Vouoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hans Vouoku!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vouoku shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hawking manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Vouoku's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Vouoku thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hawking knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vouoku on the ground.

Hawking is trying to keep Vouoku in close.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Vouoku shoots in and bounces Hawking off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hawking has momentary wrist control but Vouoku slips an elbow through the middle.

Vouoku seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Vouoku has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hawking wants to stand but Vouoku is controlling the position.
Vouoku controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vouoku should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Vouoku drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vouoku jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hawking isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vouoku stacks Hawking on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vouoku!

Vouoku is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hawking is trying to escape and Vouoku transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hawking is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vouoku! Very nice indeed!
