The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Cooper or perhaps it was just good defense by Esko which made him look bad.
Esko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Esko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cooper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Cooper passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Esko!

Cooper throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Esko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cooper is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Esko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Esko is still in real trouble! Can Cooper finish him?
Cooper has isolated one of Esko's arms. Esko looking to fight him off but Cooper twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
