The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Kartos.
Kartos throws an overhand right that lands on Hidjen's shoulder, as Hidjen tries to avoid the shot.
Hidjen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kartos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kartos lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hidjen takes a step back to recover.
Hidjen is looking to clinch.
Kartos throws a chopping leg kick but Hidjen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kartos tries to land a front kick but Hidjen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

It looks like Atlas Kartos has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kartos connects with a jab.

The fighters circling - Kartos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kartos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kartos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hidjen moves away.
Kartos throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hidjen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Kartos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kartos throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kartos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hidjens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kartos moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kartos throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hidjen.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kartos stuns Hidjen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kartos throws a nice inside leg kick.

Kartos lands a high kick to the side of Hidjen's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Kartos dives into guard, looking to finish.

Hidjen is rocked!
Kartos works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Oh Hidjen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kartos is controlling the pace.
Kartos looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kartos connects with a nice short shot to Hidjen's temple.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kartos in particular looking to stall.
Hidjen seems to have got his legs back now.
Kartos frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kartos swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
