Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Reese!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitchell Jones!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.

Jones moves into the clinch.
Jones lands a hook that snaps the head of Reese backwards.
Jones blocks an elbow strike from Reese.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Reese.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Reese throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reese misses with a straight right.
Jones avoids the head kick by Reese.
Jones is looking to land body kicks.
Reese smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Reese throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Reese throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reese misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Reese has time to react.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reese looks to throw a body kick
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.

Reese throws out a head kick that Jones doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Jones crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Jones's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Reese fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Reese throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Reese displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reese moves away.

and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Reese throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Reese fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Reese tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones avoids the head kick by Reese.
Reese looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming.
Reese tries a head kick but it misses.
Reese misses with a jab, cross combination.
Reese slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Jones drives through and clinches with Reese against the ropes.
A head punch on the inside from Reese fails to land.
Jones gets through Reese's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Reese is trying to force a seperation but Jones has the dominant position.

Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Reese.

Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Reese moves out of range easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Reese lands a head kick that bluckles Jones and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Reese no doubt looking to push for a finish!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Reese takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Mitchell Jones was lucky to get out of the first round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mitchell Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Oh Reese is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Boom! Jones lands a massive head kick that sends Reese crashing into the ropes, followed by a classic face plant on the canvas! He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Jones is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mitchell Jones!
