The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Von Undereem rushes Hidjen and presses him up against the cage.
Von Undereem is struggling to control the position.
Hidjen misses with a knee strike.
Hidjen stalling in the clinch but Von Undereem improves position.
Hidjen tries to land a knee to the head but Von Undereem blocks with his arms.

Von Undereem jumps guard and drags Hidjen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Von Undereem is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Von Undereem kicks Hidjen off and gets to his feet.
Hidjen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Von Undereem scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hidjen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Von Undereem is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hidjen to the mat. Hidjen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Von Undereem is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hidjen wants to stand and escape but Von Undereem is having none of it.

A punch lands to the side of Von Undereem 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hidjen doesn't manage to clinch there - Von Undereem circles away.
Von Undereem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That kick from Von Undereem tenderised Hidjen's leg. Hidjen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ramsey Hidjen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Von Undereem closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Von Undereem has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hidjen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Von Undereem yanks on the arm and Hidjen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Von Undereem.
