The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eliott fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bradbury misses with a takedown attempt - Eliott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bradbury is defended easily by Eliott.

Bradbury moves into range and clinches up with Eliott.

Eliott is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bradbury can't fight it off and eventually Eliott manages to take the fight to the floor. Bradbury looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bradbury is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ben Eliott has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Bradbury is looking for a sweep. Eliott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Eliott is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bradbury defends it well.
Eliott seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Bradbury fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eliott shoots in but no luck this time.

Bradbury shoots in looking for a takedown. Eliott tries to sprawl out of it but Bradbury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eliott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eliott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradbury tries to avoid it but Eliott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradbury to the ground. Bradbury escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bradbury wants to clinch.

Eliott moves into range and clinches up with Bradbury.
Eliott is trying to drag Bradbury to the mat but Bradbury just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Eliott has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bradbury regains guard immediately.
Bradbury is looking to stand up but Eliott isn't so interested in that idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Eliott sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bradbury's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eliott frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Eliott's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Eliott really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bradbury.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eliott sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Bradbury taps out!
