Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koni Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Maui Boy. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Maximus lands with a slapping head kick.
Maximus misses with a head kick.
Benson gets a clinch.
Maximus manages to break the clinch.
Maximus avoids the body shot from Benson.
Benson has his takedown stuffed
and Maximus counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Benson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maximus tries to avoid it but Benson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maximus to the ground. Maximus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Benson moves to clinch but Maximus breaks away
and Maximus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Benson's knee momentarily.
Maximus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Maximus enables Benson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Maximus manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Maximus trying to control the position.
Benson advances to half guard.
Maximus is looking to control Benson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Maximus avoid being mounted?
Maximus is not content to let Benson control the position.
Maximus tries to get to full guard but Benson has control of the leg.
Maximus is staying active underneath Benson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Benson is thwarting Maximus's attempts to control the position.

Benson is trying for a kimura here. Maximus looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Benson wins by kimura!
