Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacobs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Till I Collapse. Silva has chosen Kashmir as his entrance music. Shogun Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacobs is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.

Jacobs is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jacobs slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A very excited looking Russell Jacobs rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
