Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brody Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jol Katarin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Grease Box". Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Katarin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Katarin off to one side.
Jones sizes up Katarin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jol Katarin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Katarin circles away quickly and effectively.

Katarin uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
