Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
Smith works the jab nicely.
Smith throws a hook but Young blocks it.
Young fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
Young looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Young misses with a double jab.
Young throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smith counters with a left to the body.
Young does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Young looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Connor Young has been cut.
Young misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith slips under a jab.
Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Young misses with a low kick.
Young throws an off balance right hand
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A cross from Smith lands.
Young is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith cracks Young with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
