PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Tilthammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Ottesen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tilthammer comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi mind tricks - Blood in blood out. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darth Ottesen!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tilthammer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ottesen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ottesen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tilthammer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tilthammer and Ottesen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tilthammer wants to control but Ottesen postures up.
Tilthammer tries to improve position but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darth Ottesen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Tilthammer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ottesen sprawls well initially but Tilthammer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
