The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Megani fails to land the takedown.
Leffe dives in and grabs Megani's left leg, looking for a takedown. Megani pushes down on Leffe's head and hops out.

Leffe clinches up against the ropes.
The referee is keeping an eye on Leffe - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Megani tries to score a body lock takedown but Leffe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Megani shoots for a takedown but Leffe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Leffe turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Leffe manages to end up in side control.

Leffe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leffe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Leffe is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Megani reverses the position - he's now on top in Leffe's guard.
Megani is fighting to break Leffe's control of his arms but Leffe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Albino Leffe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Luigi Megani is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
