Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shogun Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hoy Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson shoots in but no luck this time.
Nelson moves away from the strike by Silva.
Nelson staying out of range there.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Silva misses with a leg kick.
A low kick from Silva misses
and Nelson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silva's knee momentarily.
Silva throws a solid leg kick but Nelson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silva.
Nelson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Nelson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Silva controlling the position for now.
Nelson slows the pace down in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva with a jab.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nelson.
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Shogun Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nelson closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Silva.
Silva lands a lovely overhand right.
A solid leg kick lands there for Silva.

A bone on bone clash there as Nelson blocks the leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nelson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nelson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nelson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nelson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Silva connects with a leg kick. Nelson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Silva looks to land a left hand but Nelson moved out of range nicely.
An inside leg kick from Silva misses.
Silva misses with a straight left.
Nelson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shogun Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva swings widly with a right hand
and Nelson counters with a thumping low kick.

Silva throws a hook but Nelson avoids it easily.
Nelson throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Nelson ducks down to avoid it.
Nelson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva misses the jab.
Nelson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Silva lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nelson will feel that in the morning.
Nelson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva looks to throw the jab but Nelson is out of range.
Nelson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Silva is looking to chop away at Nelson's legs.
Nelson moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.
Silva misses with a shot to the body
and Nelson counters with a body kick that stops Silva in his tracks momentarily.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva misses with a left hand
and Nelson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nelson controlling the pace for now.
Nelson lands a big elbow.
Nelson content just to control the position here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nelson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Silva because Nelson loaded up on that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hoy Nelson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nelson moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice jab there from Silva.
Nelson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nelson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Silva if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nelson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Nelson is now in Silva's guard.
Nelson stays in close to Silva's body and controls the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nelson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nelson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hoy Nelson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses.
Nelson misses with a kick to the body.
Shogun Silva is winning the standup battle so far.
Silva looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silva, as that shot connected.
Silva throws a big shot that misses.
Silva is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Silva throws a front kick aimed at Nelson's knee but Nelson avoids it well.
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Nelson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Silva throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nelson.
Silva misses with a looping right.
Silva lands a jab to the nose.
Silva swings widly with a right hand
and Nelson counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Nelson looks at the referee who does nothing so Nelson lands a crushing right that sends Silva to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hoy Nelson!
Hoy Nelson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
