Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micki Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Gojan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micki Angelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Gojan!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo misses with a takedown attempt

and Gojan counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gojan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Angelo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gojan on the ground.
Angelo tries to buck Gojan off but Gojan is having none of it.

Gojan decides to stand back up.
Angelo tries to close the distance and clinch but Gojan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gojan looks for a takedown but Angelo sprawls well.
Angelo shoots in looking for a takedown but Gojan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Angelo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gojan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gojan lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gojan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Angelo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Gojan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Angelo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gojan shoots in for a double leg but Angelo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gojan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Angelo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gojan's face.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gojan is desperately trying to improve his position but Angelo has a good base and remains in mount.

Gojan wants to get up but he can't break Angelo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dan Gojan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Angelo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Angelo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Angelo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gojan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gojan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Angelo wants to hold on but Gojan pushes him away.
Angelo is trying to escape the mount.
Angelo is just holding on here. Gojan manages to take his back.
Angelo just trying to survive but Gojan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

That was a close second round but I would say that Micki Angelo will probably get the nod.
