Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Christofi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Dennehy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dennehy's choice of entrance music: The Homeland. On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Christofi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Christofi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Christofi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Dennehy!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennehy tries to clinch but Christofi is having none of it.
Christofi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Christofi swats away the attempt to clinch by Dennehy.
Dennehy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Christofi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dennehy enables Christofi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dennehy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Christofi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dennehy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Dennehy keeping moving, preventing Christofi from controlling successfully.
Christofi is looking to work some ground and pound but Dennehy has wrist control.
Christofi passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Christofi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dennehy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christofi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Christofi works to advance to full mount. Dennehy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Christofi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
BOOM! Christofi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Christofi lands a heavy elbow.

Dennehy is rocked!
A big strike lands for Christofi! That's really hurt Dennehy and he's turned his back - Christofi keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Christofi jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
