Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Rickarderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rickarderson scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rickarderson's guard.

Smith gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rickarderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Rickarderson misses with a double jab.
Rickarderson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Smith counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rickarderson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Smith lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Rickarderson's body.
