PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nuka Antiman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddi Zoom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antiman comes to the cage accompanied by Ly-o-lay-ale-loya. Zoom has chosen Thunder Struck - ACDC as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zoom shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Antiman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Antiman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Zoom working the ground and pound but Antiman is defending the strikes.
Antiman can't do much from the bottom here.

Zoom tries for a kimura but Antiman is defending well.
Antiman is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zoom off and has taken his back!
Zoom wants to escape the position.
Antiman doesn't have the hooks in and Zoom manages to turn into his guard.

Antiman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Antiman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zoom's guard.

Zoom manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Zoom cracks Antiman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Poor strikes thrown by Zoom there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Antiman tries to lock up and control but Zoom gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Antiman is wriggling around trying to escape.

Zoom is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Antiman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Zoom has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Antiman's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zoom looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Antiman is looking to control Zoom's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Antiman avoid being mounted?

Zoom is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Antiman is just riding it out for now. Zoom eventually gives up the hold.

Antiman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Antiman has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zoom doesn't defend quickly enough and Antiman has managed to lock this one up! Can Zoom escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Antiman on a fantastic submission victory.
