PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sephiroth Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trejo comes to the cage accompanied by Dire Straits- Six Blade Knife. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sephiroth Cooper was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo misses with a straight right.

Trejo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cooper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trejo has managed to get both his arms back between Cooper's legs - danger averted.

Cooper misses with a takedown attempt - Trejo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cooper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trejo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cooper closes the distance and clinches up with Trejo, looking for a takedown. Cooper pushes Trejo against the cage but Trejo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Trejo creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cooper's defenses.
Cooper on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Trejo wants to get back to striking at distance but Cooper won't allow it.

Cooper wants the takedown. Trejo is fighting it off but Cooper persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Trejo's guard against the cage.
