Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Habib LaKarosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaKarosse closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Degrizz quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Degrizz wants to get back to his feet.
Degrizz wants to improve his position but LaKarosse is controlling well.
LaKarosse misses with a head shot. Degrizz uses the momentum to regain guard.
LaKarosse seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
LaKarosse stands and throws Degrizz's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Degrizz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LaKarosse on the ground.
The referee asks LaKarosse politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. LaKarosse prefers to stall for the moment though.
