Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry McDaniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Grundi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angus Grundi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniels throws a series of punches but Grundi moves out of range.

Grundi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McDaniels to the ground. Grundi is now in McDaniels's guard.
Grundi with a flurry of punches that miss.

Grundi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McDaniels could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Grundi stops McDaniels from standing up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Grundi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grundi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McDaniels avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Grundi throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grundi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Grundi prevents McDaniels from getting back to his feet.
Grundi throws a big elbow that misses.

Grundi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Grundi seems to have locked his on tight now - McDaniels screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Grundi, as he picks up the win!
