Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dennis Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Davis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Davis is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now.
Davis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davis has him pressed against the cage.
Silva manages to break the clinch.
Silva moves out of range as Davis throws a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva jabs at Davis's body.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva cracks Davis with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Davis looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Silva finish him?
Davis is rocked!
It looks like Dennis Davis has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.
Davis with a poor takedown
and Silva counters with a right hand from hell and Davis is out cold! A vicious knockout!
