Excellent takedown into side control there by Patterson.

Patterson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patterson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Patterson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Patterson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jansson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Patterson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jansson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Patterson yanks on the arm and Jansson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Patterson.
