Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eryk Kafok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Scapolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scapolo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kafok throws out the jab.
Kafok connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A slow jab from Scapolo misses its intended target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Scapolo. Kafok does a little dance to reset his feet.
Scapolo moves out of range as Kafok strikes.

Scapolo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kafok.
Scapolo ducks under a wild hook from Kafok.
Kafok throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kafok misses with an uppercut. Scapolo saw that one coming.
Scapolo slips a jab from Kafok.
Kafok smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kafok swats away the attempt to clinch by Scapolo.
Scapolo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kafok throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Scapolo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kafok's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Scapolo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Scapolo stands up and waves to Kafok to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scapolo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kafok misses the jab.
Eryk Kafok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kafok jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kafok is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kafok swats away the attempt to clinch by Scapolo.
Scapolo staying out of range there.
Kafok throws a looping overhand right but Scapolo ducks down to avoid it.
Eryk Kafok is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Scapolo shoots in and bounces Kafok off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kafok is looking to stand up but Scapolo isn't so interested in that idea.
Scapolo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Scapolo postures up in Kafok's guard and throws a big left but Kafok blocks it.

Scapolo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scapolo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kafok's head.
Scapolo lands a couple of digs.
Kafok is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scapolo is controlling him.
Scapolo is in close to Kafok's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Scapolo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kafok wants to stand but Scapolo is controlling the position.
Scapolo is stalling in the full guard.
Kafok wants to stand and escape but Scapolo is having none of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Leo Scapolo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Scapolo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kafok is trying to defend but Scapolo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Scapolo in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Scapolo stands up and beckons Kafok to his feet.

A telegraphed right hand from Kafok misses the target.
The crowd cheers as Kafok lands an impressive looking overhand right. Scapolo doesn't seem phased though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Scapolo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kafok manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Scapolo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kafok's head.
Kafok can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scapolo controls the pace.
Scapolo lands a couple of elbows.
Oh Kafok is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Scapolo cracks Kafok with a solid left hand.
Scapolo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Scapolo loads up on a big left hand. Kafok felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Scapolo looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kafok can't hide his disappointment, as Scapolo celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leo Scapolo!
Leo Scapolo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
