Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vinny Zombo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Deano Hall!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zombo circles away.
Hall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zombo. Zombo obviously looking to wear him down.
Hall shoots in for a takedown but Zombo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zombo tries to avoid it but Hall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zombo to the ground. Zombo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vinny Zombo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deano Hall.
Zombo throws a head kick but Hall moves out of range.
Zombo misses with a head kick.
Zombo throws the kick towards the body but Hall avoids it.
Zombo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hall's calf.
Hall looks gassed!
A nice leg kick lands there from Zombo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zombo scores with a leg kick.
Hall shoots in and drives through. Zombo sprawls well.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Zombo - that will leave a mark!
Nice body kick there by Zombo.
Zombo thumps Hall with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zombo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hall walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zombo.
A nice inside leg kick there by Zombo. That's going to slow Hall down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zombo lands a big head kick that sends Hall tumbling to the mat! Zombo takes a step backwards and waves Hall back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hall is rocked!
It looks like Deano Hall has been cut.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Zombo throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Hall is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
