The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice jab there from Van Damme.

It looks like Gregor Gracie has been cut.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
and Van Damme counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Van Damme lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gracie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jean Claude Van Damme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Damme clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Van Damme cracks the inside of Gracie's front leg.
Van Damme scores with a jab to the body.
Van Damme lands a head shot.
Gracie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Van Damme lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Van Damme comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Van Damme and sends Gracie crashing to the mat! Van Damme follows him down to the mat - Gracie regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Gracie is rocked!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Van Damme is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Van Damme seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gracie is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
