Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ryan Carter!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow tries to land a body kick
and Carter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Carter misses with a head kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Carter.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Carter checks a leg kick.

and Snow counters with a low kick, right behind Carter 's knee.
Carter lands a slapping body shot.
Carter pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Snow tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lorenzo Snow will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Snow drops his hands momentarily and Carter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Snow chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Carter can pounce on him.
Carter takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Snow feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Carter lands with a shot to the body.
Snow scores with a nice head shot.
Snow moves out of range as Carter throws a body kick.
Carter blocks a leg kick.
Snow misses with a leg kick
and Carter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Snow connects with an inside leg kick.
Snow throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Carter throws a head kick but Snow moves out of range.
Snow tests Carter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Snow takes one to the chin there.
Carter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Carter in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Carter's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Carter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Snow finds it's way round the side to connect with Carter's head.

Carter tests Snow's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Carter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Snow.
Snow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Well Snow has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
