PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between VJ Kiwi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Molito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiwi comes to the cage accompanied by Redlight - Get Out My Head. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiwi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Molito tries to avoid it but Kiwi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Molito to the ground. Molito escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Molito. Kiwi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kiwi closes the distance and clinches up with Molito, looking for a takedown. Kiwi pushes Molito against the cage but Molito circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Molito connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like VJ Kiwi has been cut.
Kiwi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for VJ Kiwi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Molito cracks Kiwi with a right hand to the side of the head.

Kiwi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Molito after a bit of a struggle.

Molito darts in and clinches Kiwi up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kiwi throws a head punch that misses.

Molito breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Molito pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kiwi back to the cage. Molito follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kiwi.
Kiwi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Enrique Molito is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kiwi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kiwi takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Molito rushes Kiwi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Molito prevents the takedown attempt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kiwi. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Molito.

Molito pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kiwi.
Molito wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kiwi drops his hands momentarily and Molito takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kiwi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Molito but Molito pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kiwi walks into a stiff left hand from Molito.
Molito connects with a superb combination that knocks Kiwi out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Molito before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Kiwi!
