Vaughn comes to the cage accompanied by The Godfather . Smashsky has chosen Just Run as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sergei Smashsky has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with James Vaughn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vaughn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smashsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vaughn defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smashsky is defended easily by Vaughn.
James Vaughn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Smashsky.
Smashsky fails with the takedown.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vaughn.
Vaughn swings for the body but Smashsky moves out of range.

It looks like Sergei Smashsky has been cut.
Vaughn scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Vaughn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Smashsky has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vaughn lands a brutal head kick. Smashsky looks out on his feet and Vaughn throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
