The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardosa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sackett shoots in for a takedown but Cardosa shows good takedown defense.
Cardosa tries to move into range but Sackett moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A shot to the liver by Cardosa. Beautiful body shot.
Sackett throws a lazy right hand but Cardosa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sackett looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cardosa is pressing down on Sackett's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cardosa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sackett stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Cardosa throws up his legs and catches Sackett in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Sackett tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Cardosa! That came out of nowhere!
